Makoura Lodge is the perfect venue for large group accommodation bookings of up to 52 individuals. Need more? If you have a minimum of 35 guests staying, you'll have unlimited access to onsite camping and caravan sites. Additionally, we have a list of external accommodation providers nearby below.
With six modern suites and two houses, Burnside Bungalow and Glenluce Homestead, it’s ideal for your upcoming conference, wedding, or function. Additionally, for those seeking a unique experience, Riverside Retreat can be booked via Canopy Camping.

If more than 35 guests are staying in Makoura Lodge’s accommodation, there is additional space for caravans and tents on our beautiful lodge grounds. We don’t have official sites; however, if you require power, you can park behind the lodge accommodation and use a standard power outlet there. Bathroom and shower access will be inside the main lodge.

Pricing with Individuals Paying
The following pricing is a flat rate across all group accommodations (Glenluce, Burnside, and six lodge suites).
Payment can be made upon check-in. Pricing includes one full-cooked breakfast on the day of departure.
Adult BnB discount rate - for more than 30 guests staying
One night: $96 pp | Two nights: $162 pp
Adult BnB rate - for 20 to 30 guests staying
One night: $128pp | Two nights: $200 pp
Children BnB rate (5-12years)- One night: $75 pp | Two nights: $134 pp (children are classed as 5-12 years of age)
Children BnB rate (under 5 years)- One night: $60pp | Two nights: $120pp (no charge if staying in a porta-cot & is halved if sharing a fold-out couch or single bed)
Caravans & Camping BnB rate - One night: $52 pp | Two nights: $76 pp (permitted only if more than 35 guests staying onsite)
Pricing with the Organiser Paying

Ensure exclusive use and special lodging rates by booking all accommodations: Glenluce Homestead, Burnside Bungalow, and our six lodge suites (excludes Riverside Retreat). This option will give you complimentary unlimited camping and caravan site
access where campers have access to showers and toilets inside the Lodge.

A $1000 deposit will be requested upon booking to cover any damages to accommodation. If all is well, this will be refunded after the event.
