Makoura Lodge is the perfect venue for large group accommodation bookings of up to 57 individuals. Need more? If you have a minimum of 35 guests staying, you'll have access to onsite camping and caravan parking. Additionally, we have a list of external accommodation providers nearby below.
With six modern suites and two houses, Burnside Bungalow and Glenluce Homestead it’s ideal for your upcoming conference, wedding, or function. Additionally, for those seeking a unique experience, Riverside Retreat can be booked via Canopy Camping.

If more than 35 guests are staying in Makoura Lodge’s accommodation, there is additional space for caravans and tents on our beautiful lodge grounds. We don’t have official sites; however, if you require power, you can park behind the lodge accommodation and use a standard power outlet there. Bathroom and shower access will be inside the main lodge.

Pricing with Individuals Paying
The following pricing is a flat rate across all group accommodations (Glenluce, Burnside, and six lodge suites).
Payment can be made upon check-in. Pricing includes one full-cooked breakfast on the day of departure.
Adult BnB discount rate - for more than 30 guests staying
One night: $96 pp | Two nights: $162 pp
Adult BnB rate - for 20 to 30 guests staying
One night: $128 pp | Two nights: $200 pp
Children BnB rate (5-12years)- One night: $75 pp | Two nights: $134 pp (children are classed as 5-12 years of age)
Children BnB rate (under 5 years)- One night: $60 pp | Two nights: $120 pp | no charge for porta-cots
Caravans & Camping BnB rate - One night: $52 pp | Two nights: $76 pp (permitted only if more than 35 guests are staying onsite. Capacity is 20 people.

Ensure exclusive use and special lodging rates by booking all accommodations: Glenluce Homestead, Burnside Bungalow, and our six lodge suites (excludes Riverside Retreat). This option will give you complimentary camping and caravan site
access where campers have access to showers and toilets inside the Lodge for up to 20 people.

* Wedding bookings have a two-night minimum stay
A $1000 deposit will be requested upon booking to cover any damages to accommodation. If all is well, this will be refunded after the event.
